Glues suitable for stainless steel sealing include silicone sealants, polyurethane sealants, and two-component epoxy floor coatings.

1. Silicone Sealant
Silicone sealants are polymeric materials composed of polymerized silicone monomers and additives. They offer excellent resistance to high and low temperatures, oxidation, UV rays, electrical insulation, and hydrolysis. Furthermore, silicone sealants can hydrate freely when exposed to moist substrates, strengthening the bond.

2. Polyurethane Sealant
Polyurethane sealants are adhesives made from a mixture of polyisocyanates, mixed polyethers, and crosslinkers. They exhibit excellent adhesion, strength, elasticity, and aging resistance, as well as good tensile strength at low temperatures. Polyurethane sealants are suitable for sealing applications in electrical appliances, automobiles, and construction.

3. Two-Component Epoxy Floor Coating
Two-component epoxy floor coatings are composed of epoxy resins, amine curing agents, and fillers. After mixing, they form a hard coating that is highly malleable, hard, and resistant to abrasion, impact, pressure, and corrosion. It is suitable for applications requiring high-strength and durable seals, such as pumps, pipes, machinery, and electrical equipment.

Generally speaking, all three types of adhesives are suitable for sealing stainless steel, but the specific material environment and sealing requirements must be considered when selecting the right one.
